As the person above me said, yes, gaara does like Matsuri. To what extent is not made clear yet. Due to her not showing fear of being around him and even becoming his student it can be assumed that they are close as a master and pupil. Though as for the closeness being a couple kind, i honestly couldn't tell you as of right now lol.
It's obvious that Matsuri ( at least i hope i'm not misreading her lol) has some sort of attraction towards gaara though not enough to act on it as of this moment. Now gaara...that is a tough one lol. Right now i would have to put my bet on that he has a feeling for her but chooses not pursue it any further. Since right now they are nearing a fourth Ninja war lol, so getting in any kind of relationship right then wouldn't be smart.
So yea shorter answer, yes i think Gaara does like Matsuri.
